What We Believe

​​As Christians, we believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, the "power of God for salvation to everyone who believes" (Romans 1:16). We believe that "all Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work" (2 Timothy 3:16-17). We believe Christ established His church (Matthew 16:18) on the day of Pentecost in 33 A.D. (Acts 2), and that all who believe on Him, repent of their sins (Luke 13:3), and are baptized in the name of Christ for the forgiveness of their sins (Acts 2:38) are "in Christ" and belong to Him (Galatians 3:26-29). Therefore they are in His church.
